Sunnahs pertaining to Salah
1) Narrated `Aisha (رضي الله عنها):
the mother of believers: Allah enjoined the prayer when He enjoined it, it was two rak`at only (in every prayer) both when in residence or on journey. Then the prayers offered on journey remained the same, but (the rak`at of) the prayers for non-travelers were increased.
Sahih Bukhari, Book 8, Hadith 1
2) Narrated Um `Atiya (رضي الله عنها):
We were ordered to bring out our menstruating women and veiled women in the religious gatherings and invocation of Muslims on the two `Id festivals. These menstruating women were to keep away from their Musalla. A woman asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (صلي الله عليه وسلم) ‘ What about one who does not have a veil?” He said, “Let her share the veil of her companion.”
Sahih Al Bukhari- Book 8 Hadith 3
3) Narrated `Umar bin Abi Salama (رضي الله عنه):
I saw the Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) offering prayers in a single garment in the house of Um-Salama and he had crossed its ends around his shoulders.
Sahih Al Bukhari Book 8 Hadith 6
May Allah grant us the ability to follow the sunnah of our RasulAllah (صلي الله عليه وسلم)
